Staff & Experience
A number of our staff have completed the Mine Safety and Health Administration and Occupational Safety and Health Administration 40-Hour Health and Safety training, which is updated annually. As a valued service provider to our customers, we are currently on approved and qualified drilling contractors’ lists for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
A proud member of the National Drilling Association, Hetager Drilling employs an experienced staff of nearly 40 drilling personnel and machinists. Our senior drillers, foremen, and supervisors have been with the firm for more than 20 years and bring a wealth of drilling knowledge to our clients’ projects. As a result of this experience, and our “get it done” attitude, we are a preferred service provider to many engineers, facility owners, and construction and mining companies.
We are a licensed contractor in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and Ohio, and we have completed projects in New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, and Maryland.
Specialized Equipment
To best serve our customers’ needs, we operate a fully staffed machine shop and manufacture most of our own equipment, parts, and supplies. This capability allows us to modify and adapt our equipment for special applications to meet specific project requirements.
Safety First
At Hetager Drilling, we are very serious about safety and approach each of our assignments with a “safety first” attitude. We work closely with our corporate safety officer, who oversees our corporate safety committee, as well as requires regular safety discussions at our facility and project-specific tailgate talks in the field.
